Tradigital Instagram Ads
This was an assignment for my Design Fundamentals class during spring 2022 semester. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but sometimes it only takes a few words carefully selected by a designer to completely recast that picture's story.
In this assignment we choose an everyday item to design an ad for. Then we show that item in three different ways: positive, negative and metaphorical. I decided to go with shoes and what better shoe brand than Vans?

Designing the Ads
Ultimately choosing three thumbnails that I felt were the strongest concepts and had the most potential, I opened Photoshop and began designing starting with images found on Unsplash to guide my designs and typography. Each canvas had to be 1080 x 1920 at 72 dpi. Here are the final results!
