Wild Helm Coffee Roasters Project
This project was for my Fundamentals of Advertising class in 2021. The goal of this project was to make a brand with various media by first defining and analyzing the type of audience that we want to cater towards. My target audience was young adults, young couples, and coffee drinkers alike. In order to not make the stereotypical coffeeshop, I made an ocean themed brand that was steeped in history and heritage.

Primary Logo
For my primary logo I chose to use a circle as the main characteristic for my logo. Although some say that a circle is cliché, the intention is to make my logo classic and traditional. I wanted to make something that seems and feels familiar to my audience.

Secondary Logos
For these last two sets of secondary logos, the goal was to create media that can be used in various mediums like social media, packaging, business cards and clothing.
Color Palette
Fonts
Times New Roman is the most traditional and classical font there is and that is why I chose it for my primary logo. It looks professional and clean but Times New Roman can sometimes feel archaic and boring, but by arranging the font in either an upward or downward circle, I add character to the font. For the lesser parts of my logo, I wanted to mix it up but I did not want to take away from Times New Roman so I used Source Sans Variable because it is small but clean and professional.
Clothing Mockups
Using the logos and media shown above, I found adequate mockups and placed the logos accordingly. These t-shirts could be used as either employee uniform or sold to at the coffeeshop.

Coffee Packaging Mockups
What's a good coffee brand without its own packaging? First, I found a free coffee packaging mockup using Graphic Burger. Then I designed new media and adapted the original logo to fit on the cup and package.
